We found the island of São Miguel to be a wonderful gem in the Atlantic Ocean. The island is a haven for dramatic scenery, gorgeous landscapes and some wonderful cultural activities. Enjoy fresh fruit and several different types of handcrafts. But what makes this location is really the people. They are friendly and welcoming and so happy to share their home with you. This is a wonderful spot to visit.
